It's allowed her to stay in a familiar atmosphere even though her kids live out of town. The consistency of care has been especially appreciated. Also, it's been easy to communicate with April and the staff; they are quick to answer emails and phone calls.

The on-call scheduler answered the phone at the Liberty office and she was so kind and caring and went above and beyond the call of duty to direct me to Brent at the St. Joseph office. She felt they would be better geographically prepared to care for my Dad in Weston, MO. Brent spoke with me for close to an hour and we set up a plan to meet at my Dad's home on Monday. This was a huge relief for my sister and me to get the ball rolling so quickly. Brent was straight forward and genuine in describing what services would benefit my Dad. The first caregiver started on Tuesday and we have them coming every day from 12-4. There were a few different caregivers until Home Instead found one in the Weston area and my Dad has bonded well with each one. Now he has a couple of 'regulars' and they take home to physical therapy, go for a drive, tidy the house and I am sure they are listening to lots of my Dad's stories. This has been a huge help to my family to know that Dad is being looked after when we cannot be there to check on him every day.
