- KAKael AndersonApr 16, 20261.0My experience echoed that over other reviewers regarding responsiveness and communication. I got inconsistent diagnoses related to cataracts from two doctors on my two visits. The first indicated i had mild cataracts, advising me to buy glasses at their shop. In a second appointment a different doctor told me I had advanced cataracts ripe for lens replacement. Later I was surprised to receive a significant bill in the mail after having the understanding that the visits were covered by copays. The first representative I spoke to conveyed it was their office's billing mistake; and that the balance was cleared. After subsequently getting a collections notice, the second Eye Care Associates representative I spoke to was indignant that the bill was absolutely correct.
- BABeth AnneApr 3, 20261.0Admin staff is pretty terrible and won’t take accountability for their errors and poor communication skills. Techs are hit or miss (lead tech Jennifer is a gem though). Drs. Breit and LaPoint are fantastic! Office staff can completely destroy a patient’s experience. Please retrain them and have Jennifer train the techs to have improved empathy, problem-solving, and communication skills.
