  Making an appointment was easy. Everyone from the front desk to the Doctor, were kind and knowledgeable. They really took the time to listen to my concerns, and help find a care plan that made sense!

  Doctor James Sterner was condescending and dismissive from the start of my appointment. I was referred to this office by my Gastroenterologist to talk about a recent positive Alpha-gal blood allergen test result. After years of many different tests that came back with no notable results instigated by issues and symptoms that I now know line up with Alpha-gal Syndrome, I was finally tested for Alpha-gal itself and my test results came back positive. In my appointment Dr. Sterner gave me information that directly conflicts with and goes against what places like the CDC, the National Library of Medicine, and Alphagalinformation.org have to say about this topic. (This last one I know is not as reputable as the other two, but has still been a good source of information after receiving my positive blood allergen test.) I was told by Dr. Sterner to stay off of "the FaceBook groups" and ignore the other information you can find online about the topic. At no point did I tell Dr. Sterner that I had gotten any information from any online groups like this. And I have not gotten information from any social media groups. Only the sources I have already listed above and a family memeber that was diagnosed in the past with Alpha-gal Syndrome as well. And I never even told him I had gotten information online at all, he just jumped to conclusions and was passively rude about it in the way he presented himself as well. He had a real "what do you want me to do about it?" attitude the whole time and I was very displeased with his level of knowledge (or lack there of) on the topic and the way he presented himself in my appointment. I was not going into this appointment looking for anything in particular, I was just given a referal from another doctor to look deeper into something I have already tested positive for. I would never recommend anyone ever see Doctor James Sterner for their allergy needs. The other office staff was nice and the facility seemed clean, those were the only positives from this visit.

  It is an active chore to services from this office. Their hours change frequently. I have attempted to go multiple times then had to leave without getting my shot after waiting 30 minutes to an hour. After seeing my wife go elsewhere and is just able to pop in for her shot it further shows just how bad this office is. I have moved my treatment elsewhere and the change is drastic. If you have the choice go somewhere else for allergy services.
