  I purchased a pair of prescription glasses here on the 18th, but production was delayed because the lenses were out of stock. While the shop later claimed they were ready on August 28th, I was never notified and had to call in myself to find out their status, ultimately picking them up on September 2nd. ​When I called to request an exchange because the glasses aren’t working for me, I was told the 30-day exchange window is calculated from the date of purchase, not the date of receipt. Due to backordered materials and their failure to notify me when the order was finished, over two weeks of that 30-day window had already expired before I even stepped foot in the store to pick them up. ​A customer cannot evaluate fit, comfort, or vision on glasses that haven't been handed to them yet. Penalizing a buyer for internal lab delays and notification lapses makes this 'policy' completely unreasonable. I am now stuck with an expensive pair of glasses I cannot use. ​I would gladly update this review if management reaches out to offer a fair resolution and allow an exchange based on the actual date of delivery.

  I was so impressed by the ladies helping us at the Lees Summit location, it’s rare to encounter people who seem to really enjoy their job and helping people. They were wonderful :) The quality of the glasses and the lenses are perfect and I am still in shock we were able to pick up my daughters TWO pair of glasses in under 2 hours from the time we walked in the door (with her outside prescription) and the glasses being ready to pick up. 10/10 recommend!! Pricing was great as well!!

  The only reason I made an appointment here is because of the relentless advertising for glasses in an hour. I go for my appointment and am told, “we’re not doing same day glasses today”.

  Stopped in to Eyemart Express this past Saturday (08/22/2026) to try on a few frames I had been looking at online. Candy assisted me and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. During my visit, several new and returning customers walked in the store and she made a point to acknowledge and personally greet each one while continuing to answer my questions. Her ability to multi-task and remain attentive and professional is unmatched. Very satisfied with my purchases and in-store experience.
