  I appreciate how quickly they got me in! Liz the assistant was very kind, knowledgeable, answered my questions. KC, the oral hygienist was very thorough and friendly!

  Office is always clean and neat. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The hygienist is very professional and gets one in and out quickly.

  Very friendly people. They got me in quick and did the procedure with very little pain, this is a first for me usually I dread shots, but felt next to nothing once they was giving them. Would highly recommend.

  I’m really disappointed with how this office handled a scheduling situation and, even more so, with the lack of care I received over the phone. I called near the end of the day and was given an appointment for early the following afternoon. At the time, they weren’t sure whether my insurance would cover the visit. I called back at 8 a.m. the next morning because I learned the appointment had been scheduled as an “emergency” visit, and I didn’t know what that would cost or whether insurance would cover it. I decided to cancel until I could confirm my coverage. The appointment had been made less than 24 hours beforehand, so obviously it was also cancelled less than 24 hours beforehand. When I called a few weeks later, after confirming my insurance coverage and knowing what type of appointment I needed, I was told I had been placed on their “24-hour list” because of that cancellation. I was told I can no longer schedule an appointment in advance and instead have to call each morning to see if they happen to have an opening. I was also told I could get off the list by showing up for appointments—which is frustrating when I’m not allowed to actually schedule one. What bothered me just as much was how I was spoken to. During my first calls, the receptionist made me feel foolish for not already knowing their terminology and procedures. As a patient, I don’t think I should be expected to know the correct name for every type of dental appointment—that’s something I would expect the office staff to help me navigate. I completely understand having a cancellation policy, especially when someone books an appointment weeks or months in advance and cancels at the last minute. But applying that policy to an appointment that was both made and cancelled within the same 24-hour period, while I was simply trying to verify insurance coverage and potential costs, seems unreasonable. I know this is one of the largest dental groups in Kirksville, but patients should still feel like people rather than numbers. I would have appreciated a little understanding and basic kindness instead of being penalized for trying to make an informed decision about my care and its cost.

  Was looking for an extraction to be done and figured I would more than likely need to wait until next week. I was thrilled to learn that not only could they squeeze me in today but also immediately. Both the nurse and doctor were beyond accommodating and by far my best experience with a dentist. Definitely found a primary dentist now! Thank you!
