I seen alot of employees just walking around and dif not even attempt to help out in frame area. I believe the employees there need to be trained in all areas there. It takes team work no I in team. I have worked behind seens and I was cross trained.
- TMTracy McClintockMay 19, 20263.0The physician was polite, compassionate and knowledgeable, unfortunately the receptionist was not. When we arrived she was typing, we waited, she never greeted us or even looked up to acknowledge we were there. I finally gave our names and purpose for the visit. Upon leaving, she told me the prices for the contacts, I asked her if they could be delivered to my house, she said, “ Well, you’ll have to pay for them first!” I told her, “ Yes, I figured that!” She also told me my insurance didn’t cover anything on contacts, which is odd because for the past 7 yrs. I have been coming there, they have covered a portion of the cost, so I guess I’m investigating that on my own time. She also spoke rudely to the physician while she was filling out some forms for a referral. My husband is getting referred for cataract surgery so the visit was stressful for us, she made us feel like we were bothering her with the entire interaction. I’m a Registered Nurse and I can say she needs some education on customer service and empathy, especially when she is the first and last person we encounter at this office. People remember not so much what you do or don’t do, they definitely remember how you made them feel.
