Beware of Bait-and-Switch Sales Tactics at This Location
THE SALE: We specifically requested premium Crizal HR coatings and XTRActive Polarized Transitions lenses that would darken while driving.
THE “WAIT 3 MONTHS” TRAP: When the lenses didn’t darken in the car, staff told us to give them three months because they would get darker over time. We followed their advice, which pushed us past the 30-day window.
THE REVEAL: Within two months, the lenses were also severely scratched. When we later reviewed the order with LensCrafters, we discovered we had received neither the Crizal HR coating nor the XTRActive Polarized Transitions lenses we specifically requested and were told we were getting.
THE BLAME: Management then told us we were past the 30-day return window, wanted about $1,400 for replacement lenses, and said we should have caught the abbreviated product descriptions on the receipt.
You shouldn’t need an optometry degree to decode a receipt and make sure the salesperson ordered what was requested and promised.
This is about trust, and LensCrafters completely lost ours.

Just got a brand new pair of Burberry prescription glasses and the sales associate, Lucianna was sooo sweet and super helpful. She made it so much easier to choose my next style of frames even with myself being extremely indecisive and have a hard time making up my mind ! She made me feel like we were just good friends shopping together. I had brought my prescription from my eye doctor in with me and after we picked my frames she had them ready for me to wear out the door in less than 30 minutes. When I came back her and another sales associate (Diana) welcomed me back and gave me a place to take my contacts out ! Amazing service and super nice, knowledgeable, and efficient staff! 100/10 experience for me. I’ll definitely be back for my next eye glass needs!

I had an incredible experience with Lenscrafters, yesterday my glasses broke and I walked in today without an appointment, Aurora, Lucianna, and Seth were all very kind to show me their different frame options and which ones looked the best on me. Respectful staff and everyone I spoke to was very kind. Thank you!

I filled my eyeglass prescription at LensCrafters and received two pair of glasses, clear glasses and sunglasses. It turned out that LensCrafters did not make the lenses as specified in the doctor’s prescription, yet the mistake was only in o e eye, so I could still see reasonably well, though something was off. I trusted that they made them correctly, coming to find out that was not true when my doctor checked the glasses and my vision at my annual visit.
I was shocked to find that despite the clear mistake on the part of LensCrafters they refuse to stand behind their mistake on turned out to be 2 pair of glasses costing >$1,300.00. I am appalled by the lack of customer service after causing me a lengthy period of poorly make glasses.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
