- WHWilliam HeydenreichJun 24, 20261.0I went in for a crown and left with a frustrating experience from start to finish. After preparing the tooth, they placed a temporary crown but left so much excess cement around it that I had to wait 24 hours before flossing it out. As soon as I removed the excess cement, the temporary crown came off. I used an over-the-counter temporary cement to reattach it, but when I gently bit down to seat it, the temporary was so thin it snapped in half. I immediately called the office, only to be told the earliest appointment was a week away. With an exposed, sensitive tooth, waiting wasn’t a realistic option, so I had the work redone elsewhere the same day. When I called back to cancel my follow-up appointment and request a partial refund, I was told they “don’t charge for the visit”—only for the crown that had already been ordered and fully paid for. Despite the temporary crown failing within days and needing to pay another dentist to fix the problem, I received no refund whatsoever. To add insult to injury, the cost to have a same-day crown done correctly at another office was about the same price. I can’t recommend this office based on my experience.
