  I have a bad eye and gives the doctor a challenge had to go back a second time he took his time and didn't rush me through it and waited for my answer. He got it right but when they made them one side was off and they made them again and they are good now. Thx much.

  Very helpful! My glasses were bent out of shape so bad I thought they were done for. Daniel spent some time bending them back into shape and popping the lens back in, saved me from having to buy a brand new pair!

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Woodbury LensCrafters. In March, I purchased two pairs of glasses here for more than $1,500 after having an eye exam. What I did not fully understand beforehand was that my exam would involve a virtual provider rather than an eye doctor physically in the room. Had that been clear when I scheduled the appointment, I would have made a different choice. More importantly, I never felt that I could see properly through the glasses, particularly out of one eye. Less than six months later, I returned because something clearly did not seem right. The second exam only increased my concerns. I was told that my prescription power had not significantly changed, but the axis for my astigmatism was different. Even more concerning, after correcting my vision, the doctor commented that I was now seeing 20/20 and noted that I had not been corrected to 20/20 at my previous exam. That was surprising because being corrected to 20/20 has consistently been my experience with previous eye exams. At that point, I had a very reasonable question: Was the original prescription used to make my $1,500+ glasses accurate? Then, after spending approximately two hours there trying to resolve a problem with glasses I had purchased from them only months earlier, I was told I owed an unexpected $84 for the exam. Because of how they classified the visit, I was told they would not process it through my vision insurance, and they also would not bill my medical insurance. I would need to pay and submit the claim myself. The insurance and $84 charge were not clearly explained to me before the exam. Had they been, I could have made an informed decision before spending two hours there. I left without paying the $84 and, more importantly, without resolution of the reason I came back in the first place. My issue isn’t simply an $84 charge. I spent more than $1,500 on two pairs of glasses, struggled to see properly through them, returned within six months, and the follow-up exam itself raised legitimate questions about the original prescription. I have contacted LensCrafters corporate and asked them to review the records from both exams and determine what happened. For anyone considering this location, I recommend asking very specific questions before your appointment: Is the provider physically present or virtual? How will your insurance be billed? Are there circumstances where your insurance will not be accepted? And what will you owe before the exam begins? I wish I had asked those questions before my experience.

  First, the good: they have some really great frame selections. They’re just expensive but look nice. Also, Daniel is a great employee, very patient. The older gentleman who wears a mask is also nice. These are the only reasons I’m not giving this review 1 star. Second, the not so positive: some of the female employees are oddly unfriendly. I saw one (woman with long, dark brown hair) flip off someone in the parking lot coming back from a break. I know she’s an employee because she walked in after I did. Maybe you were having a bad day, but that was very unprofessional. I ended up going elsewhere for computer glasses, second pair of glasses and sunglasses so you lost a bit of business there.

  After a difficult interaction with another eyewear store, Keith made the process of obtaining my prescription, insurance, and ordering the perfect glasses over the phone so easy. As someone new to glasses, I wasn’t sure the best way to go about getting a new pair. Keith went above and beyond helping me select and purchase exactly what I wanted. Can’t say enough good things about his patience with me and attention to detail yet incredible efficiency. Will certainly be back 10/10 recommend!
