  I wear reading glasses. I went to this location to get my updated prescription and told Dr. Meyer that I exclusively wear my glasses to read. He clearly did not listen to a word I said because he then prescribed my distance prescription, which is -0.25. I do not need distance glasses with a prescription that low. I do not use them to drive. I had recently passed the vision test for my license perfectly fine. I told him that I do not wear them to drive. He kept making comments during the appointment about how "some people seem to need glasses with a really low prescription." I did not understand why because my close up prescription is not that incredibly low. Now I understand that he did not listen and assumed for some reason I would want distance glasses. When I called to get them to replace the glasses they had given me, Dr. Meyer made a point of having them inform me that I cannot wear my close up perception to drive and asking me if I was sure that I really wanted reading glasses. He said he had assumed I wanted glasses like the pair I brought in. I told him in the appointment that the pair I brought in I used exclusively to read, and they were definitely a prescription that was too weak for what I needed for close up. As I said, he didn't listen to me at all. The other staff were fairly nice and fixed his mistake, thankfully, but I will not be going back to a doctor that does not listen to his patients at all.

  I just had a horrible experience at the phone trying to get an appointment. He tried so hard not to give me an appointment that made me feel that I am not welcome. As soon as I told him that I had pain in my eye after the office visit. He questioned me for more than 10 minutes making me feel uncomfortable. Even after I told him that I knew that every visit had an appointment expense, he didn’t want to give me an appointment.

  Cat is genuinely the best optician I've ever had. Incredibly helpful with selecting new frames, pricing was clear, wonderful demeanor, and incredibly skilled with adjustments. As a chronic glasses wearer, i couldn't ask for a better person to help with the process!

  I hate this location. They are rude when you call. They hung up in my face when I asked when my glasses would be ready. I been waiting over two weeks already. Just not professional. At All,, Also in response to your reply. I never said what time I called. Also my email isn’t in my legal name so trying to look me up after leaving a review is weird also. It was after 4pm when I called and as I stated it’s been over two weeks that I’ve been waiting for my glasses to be ready. I won’t be back. Already gotten help from another Pearle Vision in Maplewood with way better service.

  NEVER GO HERE.. The manager Alvin is a creep. I brought my daughter in to shop for glasses. Cat was so sweet and helpful, and she priced the glasses out to be around $180 after our insurance. Once my daughter found her pair (from the value section) we went back to the desk to get everything ordered. That is when Alvin jumped in. He refused to let us work with Cat, and insisted that we sit down at his desk instead. His desk is very messy. I could see other patients' information everywhere. Names, phone numbers, EVERYTHING. He asked my daughter if she had a husband. unprofessional. When he was finally done pricing her out, he reached a price of over $500 after insurance. When we asked to get the price that Cat gave us, he said we didn't understand, then he called us cheap. I am never coming back.
