I was told to call first thing in the morning to schedule an intake because the spots “fill up fast.” So I called at exactly 8:00 a.m.—and somehow every spot was already gone. I tried again the next day and was told I might get the 9:30 appointment, except several people were all being sent in to compete for that ONE spot on a first-come, first-served basis. Apparently, scheduling an intake at Spero now works like lining up for concert tickets. I give up. Spero used to be good. Whatever this system is, it certainly isn’t patient care.
