Unfortunately, I don’t feel the experience matched what was promised when I signed up for training and nutrition coaching.
Over the course of 3 months, I was asked to download an app for my programming with weekly exercises sent to me and the app was only updated once. I had understood it would be used weekly for exercise suggestions. When I asked about updates, I was told my trainer could give me some plans but suggested to “use ChatGPT,” which felt dismissive given the high premium of the sessions. Communication also became inconsistent, including not hearing back after being told dates would be sent for my final two sessions.
I also felt as if the nutrition coaching was very generalized rather than individualized to my goals and lifestyle. When discussing food, my trainer suggested getting a food scale and said he eats 3 chicken and veggies a day with protein shakes in the middle. I asked if he misses pizza and his response was “I like the way I look more than pizza” - I understand he’s a body builder and that works for him but it didn’t feel very valuable or personalized to me. I was also asked if I binge ate in the middle of a busy gym.
I reached out twice to the customer service email but after 2 week haven’t heard back. In general, the work outs with my trainer themselves were what I kept going back for, the sessions were great. My trainer and I set the intention that these sessions would be on the weekends and I would take what I learned, while using the programming from the app, and work out independently throughout the week and that part was where I felt the lacking. I also sent a list of every piece of equipment in my home gym to my trainer and we would not utilize these during our sessions together leaving me with a gap of knowledge to bring back with me.
There are obviously a lot of success stories reading the other reviews, and I see the potential, my review is made mainly to give another lens - I looked over the website in case I was imagining what benefits were suppose to be present but the website seemed pretty clear
Edit: sent out a third email after seeing your response - uncertain how to comment directly to the comment you made or if there is a better email to use - thanks
