The East Building is part of M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center near downtown Minneapolis. The East Building, connected to and located just north of the main M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital building, is home to several pediatric hospital units, our Level IV NICU, several pediatric specialty clinics, and other medical services for children and adults. There is a lab onsite and a pharmacy nearby. Children’s healthcare services located within the East Building include cancer care, rare disease care, lung care, heart care, dermatology, and blood and marrow transplant (BMT) care. This part of the hospital also includes our child/adolescent mental health and chemical dependency inpatient treatment center.
