- JPJack PuhlOct 2, 20265.0Unfortunately, I developed Bell’s palsy a week ago. One of the problems associated with Bell’s palsy is my right eye won’t close or blink normally and it dries out quickly. I was concerned my cornea may be drying out and become damaged. I’ve been using eye drops hourly, ointment at night, and taping my eye closed at bedtime. I’ve seen three doctors in the last week and none of them seemed concerned about corneal dryness other than to use eye drops. However, after speaking with a colleague who has the same problem, her Dr used a contact lens bandage to protect the cornea from dryness and damage. After speaking to her I became quite concerned and called Pearl Vision in Elk River to see if they could see me on a semi urgent basis. They were able to get me in within 45 minutes! The good news is I do not need a contact lens bandage, or any further treatment on my cornea other than what I’ve been doing. I would like to thank Kyle, one of the store managers, and especially Dr. Gina Gill. She spent a fair amount of time with me and did a complete exam. The information she gave me set my mind as ease. Thank you to the team at Pearl Vision in Elk River!

- TSTricia SchafferSep 10, 20265.0This is my home for eye care. I’ve been wearing glasses for 40 plus years. My first eye appointment was at Pearl vision in San Diego in 1979. I will always trust my vision with Pearl. My most recent appointment was in Elk River MN. With Dr. Rojas. Great experience. My optical professional was with Susie. She was amazing,, kind, knowledgeable, professional, and just to add, funny. It was busy when I arrived at 3pm but quiet when I left at 4.
