Not wanting to remain on the sidelines of the celebration due to my inability to hear, I phoned several audiologists for help. The only one who gave me hope was Simon Mandel, of Miracle-Ear in Edina. When I visited his office, he tested a charger on my aids, determined that it would properly charge them, and then, recognizing the significance of the occasion ... gave me the charger as a gift! I was impressed (and astonished!) at his kindness and professionalism. Mr. Mandel is what I would call a mensch.
