I was charged over $600 for progressive lenses (no coating or transitions on them). And that is with Eye Med insurance. I need to get my glasses online now as they have priced me out. I would give only one star for Pearle due to pricing.

During the initial testing, I was not given any warning before the air-puff eye pressure test. A brief explanation of what to expect would have helped make the process more comfortable. At the end of my visit, the staff member helping adjust my glasses spent much of our interaction discussing personal matters, including his divorce, finances, and frustrations about answering the phone and dealing with his boss. While I appreciate friendly conversation, I found this unprofessional and uncomfortable as a patient. I was also surprised by additional charges for retinal imaging and contact-related services. It would be helpful if staff clearly explained any optional services and potential out-of-pocket costs before they are performed so patients can make informed decisions. I am sharing this feedback because I think these are areas where communication and professionalism could be improved.
