  My husband and I have been patients at this clinic for many years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. During a recent visit, I was charged an unexpected service fee that the staff had explicitly told me would be covered by my insurance. I relied on that information when proceeding with the appointment. Unfortunately, it later turned out that the charge was not covered, and I was left responsible for the bill. When I raised the issue, the staff were unable to provide a clear explanation, and it became evident that there was a lack of knowledge or miscommunication on their part. What’s even more frustrating is that the manager was not able to resolve the situation or offer any meaningful solution. As a long-time patient, I expected better accountability and customer service. This experience has seriously impacted my trust in the clinic. I hope they take steps to better train their staff and handle billing transparency more responsibly in the future.

  Dominique Oker was fantastic! Best customer service experience I have had with an eye doctor. She was very knowledgeable, patient, educational in talking through what was of concern, and quick to respond to my needs (which was a referral for a more immediate procedure to be done). I highly recommend her, if you are searching for a good eye doctor.

  Very disappointing experience with the billing and administrative side of this office. Before my appointment, they verified my vision insurance and confirmed that the services were covered except for some optional services, which I paid for at the time. I specifically chose this provider because my previous provider was no longer in-network and this office confirmed my coverage. A month later, I unexpectedly received a bill for nearly $950. Had I been informed beforehand that these services would not be covered, I would not have proceeded with the appointment. What made the situation worse was having the account sent to a collection agency while the charges were still being disputed. Patients should be able to rely on the insurance verification provided by the office before receiving care. The doctors may be fine, but the billing and administrative processes need significant improvement, especially around insurance communication and dispute handling.
