I would have never known I had it... could have saved me from losing my sight in my left eye... He's backed behind a great team... I recommend going to if you're looking for a primary eye doctor.... That's the way I see it,!!!

When I told him that going to an eye appointment gave me more stress than most other medical appointments, we shared a little laugh when he said many folks feel that way and then said some of the reasons it might be.

I really have issues when my eyes get dilated, it makes me sick It makes me a difficult patient but Dr. Archibald Swanson is always very cautious and caring and sees to it that I'm doing ok. My kids see her as well.She is great. My wife has had her too but more recently her husband, the other Dr. Swanson and he was great too. I have recommended this place to a good friend as well and he had a good experience too.
- JSJoEll SchmitzSep 18, 20265.0My first time at Brainerd eye care and they were fabulous. Dr. Archibald was amazing like the most wonderful young lads I have met in a long time. And she explained stuff so simply that I could understand, it was great. And then I went to get glasses and the young lady I worked with was amazing. I told her I did not want to spend a lot of time finding glasses and she brought out like the perfect pairs of glasses. It took us literally 20 minutes fine glasses so I love this place and I will definitely be back.
