  I absolutely love this location for optical! The store manager Josh I. is AMAZING! So personable and so helpful! Josh was so friendly and fun! I’ve been going to this location for years, but prior to Josh coming; the experience with the manager wasn’t also a great experience! Josh is the best! I recommend this location and Dr Lance G to anyone!

  I don’t usually write reviews, but I just had to share this one because it really was that good. I went to Target Optical in Blaine yesterday for an eye exam and to possibly get a new pair of glasses—maybe even sunglasses. From the moment I walked in, Josh Isaacson greeted me with a smile, welcomed me, and let me know my appointment would be starting soon while I filled out some paperwork. The ladies at the front desk were just as friendly. Honestly, the whole place had such a positive, upbeat feel that I immediately felt comfortable. Then I met Dr. Lance Gutfleisch, and for the first time in a long time, I actually felt heard. He took the time to explain progressive lenses in a way that finally made sense. In the past, I’d always been given a reading prescription at the bottom of my progressives, even though I don’t need that. My only issue is distance. I told him I wanted progressive lenses that go from my distance prescription to basically nothing at the bottom, and he simply said, “No problem.” No hesitation, no confusion—he just got it. After my exam, Josh and the staff gave me plenty of space to browse at my own pace but were always there if I had a question. I never once felt pressured, which made the whole experience enjoyable instead of stressful. When I narrowed down my choices, Josh helped me maximize my insurance benefits and found me a great deal on both my everyday glasses and my sunglasses. He really knew his stuff and made the whole process easy. Now I just have to be patient and wait until my new specs come in! I honestly can’t recommend Target Optical in Blaine enough. Everyone I interacted with was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. I even found myself laughing with the doctor—which is definitely not something I say very often! Thank you to Josh Isaacson, Dr. Gutfleisch, and the entire team for such a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to get my new specs, show them off, and finally enjoy seeing the way I’ve always wanted to! 💛

  I needed to find an eye doctor due to insurance change. Dr. Lee was amazing! First I had told him about my dry eye and sleeping with my eyes partially open. He said he would test for dry eye and found I had a significant issue. He gave me recommendations for an heated eye mask, eye tape for sleeping, and a supplement. AMAZING! After the first two days of the eye mask and eye tape I could tell my left eye didn't need drops at all! By the 9th day both eyes didn't need drops. It's been over two weeks and my eye health hasn't been this good in 16 years! Dr. Lee listened and took my concerns seriously and helped find a solution. The staff was also wonderful to work with. I had there people help me and all of them were great. I highly recommend Dr. Lee and Target Optical in Blaine. I can't thank them enough.
