Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Rudest staff. Questioned the pricing of my prescription and was in turn argued with by staff for asking a question. Not very reassuring of a pharmacy where you are supposed to be able to ask questions.

I've been going here for years. There are two ladies that have been working here for a long time. Both of them are angels. I really hope Kroger is paying them what they deserve

I called because my prescription has been sent per dr office. Said why I was calling and Tiffany with the mediocre job and attitude wants to rude. Now when I say rude I mean for zero reason and when I say hey I was simply saying why I'm calling man! She says rudely I'm a ma'am. Well you know what I spend alot of time and money in this store and if that's ok customer service I'll shop at Buschs cuz screw that. Our prescriptions will be transfered out!!!! Screw Kroger!!!!

Store is great, pharmacy is a joke.
I take a medication which requires me to attain a physical script from my doctor every 30 days to fill. With Thanksgiving approaching however, I would be leaving to go up north to visit family a few days shy of my usual 30 day filling and would not be returning for a week. I went to my doctor, explained my situation, and was handed a script no problem, as it would lapse before I returned.
I decided since it was a little closer, I would try out this Kroger Pharmacy instead of my usual Meijer Pharmacy. Big mistake... I did not appreciate that upon arriving at the counter I was immediately met with suspicion and was subjected to what felt more like an interrogation by the pharmacist rather than the few simple questions I have come to expect regarding this particular medication. After being asked to provide a photo ID (which I did without issue) I was grilled on why there was a discrepency between the address on my script and my driver's license (um... sometimes people move and I keep a current address on file with my doctor and not my 6 YEAR OLD state issued ID?), why I was suddenly filling with them (you were a little less out of my way today given my errand agenda??), and most absurdly if I was "attempting" to fill it for someone else (um NO, it clearly has MY name on both the script and my ID)!
After the 10 minute interrogation was over they eventually decided everything checked out and I was deemed worthy to wait 45 minutes to have it filled, which I happily did so. After returning and patiently waiting in line again (at this point totalling over an hour since I had first arrived) I was pulled aside by the same pharmacist and told they could not fill my prescription as it was 4 days early (it was actually 3 because you know sometimes a month has more than 30 days in it, but whatever). After explaining I was aware of that and I had already spoken with my DOCTOR and was approved given the circumstance (which is why I even had a script in hand to begin with) they continued to tell me it was against their "policy" and that when I come back in 4 days they will have it ready and to have a nice day.
Um... NOPE! I demanded my script back (which they had written all over including my outdated address and my wait time for whatever reason) and promply drove another 20 minutes to my normal Meijer Pharmacy. After explaining briefly why the script had been tampered with writing all over it as well as why this Kroger Pharmacy refused to fill it. The pharmacist said he was shocked and promply had it filled for me in 15 minutes.
Even though it is out my way I will continue to fill my prescriptions with Meijer and will NEVER return to this location. The pharmacist on site at the time was not friendly, reasonable, or even mildy empathetic if policy truly did dictate her response (which given her attitude to begin with I highly doubt). They did not attempt once to contact me at any time during my hour long wait or even call my doctor to verify it's legitimacy before turning me away. Above all, medication and its dispersal is under the discretion of a MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL and NOT the inane suspicions of a pharmacist taking things into their own hands.
