Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Worst pharmacy ever. Been coming here for far too long. But Not anymore, will be switching immediately. They have always taken way too long but we dealt with it because we never had anything that was urgent until recebtly. My Wife called them 7 times today over the span of 2 hours to inquire about my sons anti seizure med, they never answered, she even tried calling the main store and left voicemail messages and never even got a call back. I go in personally and they tell me it will be ready in 30 minutes. I go back and apparently they shut the whole thing down until 1:30 for lunch? They don't even put a sign up. They just close the whole thing down. Like they can't rotate people so someone at least mans the counter? Don't use this place unless if you absolutely have no other choice. They suck.

If I could give O stars I would. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. I’ve been getting the run around for several days, stating my prescription was ready when in reality it was never even prepared. Additionally, between my partner and I, it took 20 total phone calls (no exaggeration) just to get someone to even answer the phone, just to be told I have to be “patient”, as if I haven’t been trying to get this situation figured out for multiple days. On top of that, the pharmacist who I spoke with was incredibly rude, inappropriately gossiped to other patients about my urgency, and undermined the importance of my medication. As someone who works in healthcare with a great amount of education, people who are responsible and stay on top of their prescription refills are getting absolutely thrown to the side, mistreated, and disrespected especially by this particular location. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but this location doesn’t even deserve to be in business and is a making a mockery of the people of Saginaw.
