  A $34,000+ corporate windfall at the expense of youth sports families. According to official registration records, 494 players signed up for the USTA Level 4 tournament hosted here, with at least 247 players finishing with two rounds of play or fewer. By actively defying their own governing organization’s explicit written refund directives, Court One Athletic Clubs has pocketed an estimated $34,580 in unearned entry fees for services they failed to deliver. The Lack of Business Ethics: On June 5th, the USTA Midwest Committee ruled in writing that the tournament host must issue refunds to all players who received two rounds of play or fewer. Court One openly defied this directive to keep families' money, pocketing $140 per player while completely ignoring all customer escalation emails. The Operational Failure: Our family traveled 24 hours round-trip from out of state for this event, expecting a guaranteed 4-match format. Court One failed to secure adequate indoor backup courts for a major regional tournament. When it rained, their scheduling completely collapsed and the format was unilaterally canceled. Out-of-state families were left holding the bill for hundreds of dollars in wasted travel, gas, and hotel expenses while Court One kept the profits. Formal consumer fraud complaints have been filed with both the BBB and the Indiana Attorney General’s office regarding this $34,000+ withholding. Travel tennis families: do not trust this facility to protect your financial investment or run an ethical event.
