About two years ago I went to the Good Feet Store in regards to obtaining some orthotics in hope that it would relieve me of severe shoulder and neck pain that resonated down my right side to my hip, knee and foot. There was times where the pain was so uncomfortable I would have to sit down 5 minutes at a time because it became unbearable. The associates at the Good Feet Store were kind, courteous, attentive and professional (but they are not doctors). They sold me two different kind of orthotics to wear at various times of the day along with some insoles, compression socks (although I do not suffer from swelling of the legs or edema) and even some really nice house shoes 👍! The pricing point was just a little over $1,500. I wore the orthotics as instructed for a period of about 2 months but did not have any significant relief from my discomfort. The issue that I was having ultimately was due to a benign cyst resting on the nerve of my shoulder that once resolved had given me relief of a lot of that discomfort. But it did not resolve the issue I was having with my hip and knee issues. I tried wearing the orthotics for another period of 2 months that I purchased from The Good Feet store. However, they still did not provide me any relief from this discomfort. Over the last year I consulted with an orthopedic doctor and eventually a podiatrist who recommended after diagnosing me with a high arch issue that I get custom orthotics. I recently went to Binson's who did a 3D imprint of my feet and created custom orthotics. I cannot yet say how they will work, but as explained to me by the professional at Binson's, over the counter store bought orthotics bought at places like The Good Feet Store cannot truly align to the contour of your feet in a way that absolutely address serious alignment issues. Think about it, if they're not doing a deep 3D impression of your feet in a mold, how exactly are they able to provide a product that truly matches the contour of your feet? I'm not saying the Good Feet store is not a fit for everyone. I just recommend that everyone consult a podiatrist before laying out $1,500 Plus for store-bought orthotics.

Went there hoping it would help! It was a horrible decision. A complete waste of money! Beware they will not refund you. The young girl that works there has no idea what she is talking about! She gives horrible advice. The worst one was walking out of my shoes with the inserts in, it caused my the heel of my shoes to be so loose! Her advice buy 1/2 size bigger shoe! Then she called to follow for the second time, when I was unable to answer her message was I guess everything is good! Must not have understood my 1st follow up call saying I was very disappointed! I couldn't even wear the inserts they made my legs ache something awful! I would only go to a podiatrist not a store that hires sales people. Bad choice! Stuck with over priced product that I am too afraid to wear.

Great product and outstanding customer service at the Novi location! Foot pain is gone and I also purchased the foot massager which helps to relieve foot pain at the end of a long day! Aaron, the store manager was fabulous, he explained the program and assessed my gait and foot type and offered me a three pair orthotic system that would be guaranteed for life! I’m a Chiropractor and know how important it is to take care of your feet and spine so they last a lifetime ! Thanks Aaron and the good feet store!!

I arrived at my appointment time. Was greeted with warm smiles and a gentle welcome. Mary got right to work on my problem “ Plantar Fasciitis “ . She was very thorough and professional. We went about fixing my problem. The best part was truly understanding my feet for the first time. The system she recommended was 1,500 for the inserts. The slippers were Devine, I loved them at only 109.00. I bought the slippers. My credit was frozen so I could not apply for credit. But, excellent service and caring staff. I’m sure the inserts will correct my problem. Great experience….

Frequently Asked Questions About The Good Feet Store

How are our arch supports different from inserts and insoles I can buy online or in drug stores?

Good Feet Arch Supports are designed to provide the firm, yet flexible function necessary to help correct poor foot biomechanics, providing long term pain-relief solutions.

I buy good shoes, but my feet still hurt. Can arch supports help me?

Absolutely. It’s common for people to think that their shoes are the problem, when in reality it’s often the foot that’s going into the shoes that’s the real source of discomfort. By stabilizing the foot with a good arch support, the pain and discomfort caused by common foot and foot-related problems can often be minimized or alleviated.
