  I travel for business and go to numerous gyms around the country. Powerhouse Gym in Novi, MI is the biggest and best I have been to. They gave me a week long membership for $60, which is much better than paying for day passes. The gym is huge, clean, well organized and equipped with everything you need. The quality and quality of cardio machines is astonishing. The free weight area has over 20 adjustable benches. The two front rooms have plenty of squat racks and six deadlift areas. This gym has multiple machines from different manufacturers for the same body part. They must have had 6-8 leg press machines. Love the pullover machine in the corner and T-bar row in the front room. I really appreciated how every Hammer Strength machine had its own plates; this is essential in reducing foot traffic to and from weight stacks/trees. They had a large area for core work with plenty of kettle bells. I really liked how they had a long runway for sled pushes. A major additional benefit is the lap pool. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Whoever organized and stocked this gym knows that they are doing. I always try to find a few things to improve and one thing they could add is the Nautilus Glute Drive, they had alternatives, but the Nautilus machine is the best version I have found. I also noticed numerous plates left on the floor in the front rooms when I arrived at 5am. That is due to lazy/inconsiderate members, but a staff member should pick those up when a member fails to. Really great gym - highly recommended.

  I was told to leave the facility because I clapped Lori. The general manager decided to bend my account. They called the police and tried to press charges against me, as I am one of the active pain members. My experience there with the staff, the managerial staff, was the worst experience ever.

  This gym has all the machines classes and services you need to stay fit, relaxed and refreshed. I love Sandra’s spinning classes!! She keeps it moving and gives you a great workout!

  was told I would be signing for monthly membership. Now being told that the contract was for one year with no way to cancel. The manager Lori told me that I signed for the contract even without receiving it and refuses to help the situation, telling me its not my fault I can't read. Don't waste your time with this scam, or at least make sure you know what you're getting into.
