  This is not a very good place to go. If you don't have a ton of money your just screwed. For customers like me that don't have money your selection of frames are so ridiculously slim you have 20 or less to choose from. They really don't service to people in the low to medium class. If you seriously have a lot of money your selection of frames are still minimal. I really have never seen that small of selections. I walked out with nothing at all. If you're on Medicare or Medicaid don't even bother going there. Your selection of frames will be so unbelievably small. I am so disappointed and dissatisfied Pearle Vision. I still can't see and really don't know what I'm going to do. When I was speaking with the staff on getting my glasses I told them that I don't have very much money that I am disabled and I'm on Social Security. They didn't have any thing that they could do for me. My insurance gave me a free eye exam that actually only took about 5 minutes. When I sat down with the lady that measures your eyes for frames she was pointing me in the direction of frames that she said are the cheap ones but even then when I was looking at the cheap ones she showed me a little tray of frames she said I could afford . My insurance allows me only $250 but they still wanted either $209 or $409 out of pocket. When I told them I don't have any money that I am disabled and I really needed glasses because I'm having a hard time seeing she said there is nothing that she can do to help me out. I asked if I could just have my prescription and she slid a piece of paper across to me with my prescription on it and she made me feel really small while I walked out.i was so disappointed I cried all the way home. I wish I would have read all the reviews before I decided to go there. They definitely don't cater to people that are elderly or Not rich. I was so excited to finally be able to get an exam and get new glasses but I left there with nothing and no glasses. The clerk that was helping me out pointed me to the area in the corner where I was supposed to choose inexpensive frames. She said that these are $209 as a package deal and the ones below them and on top of them was only $409. I had asked her about the other area under the women's sign and she said don't even bother looking at those because it will be $1,000 or more. So I had to chose something that I didn't even like that wasin the $209 area. I sat down to order them because I had $250 in my insurance but she said oh no you still have to pay an extra $209 plus tax. I asked her if there were any discounts because I have less than $900 a month. She just nodded her head no and so I walked out of the store with nothing. I have to live with a blurry world and no reading. I even asked if they could use the frames that I am wearing but she said no that these are a package deal. I told her I was really hoping for some frames without the nose pieces that constantly need adjustments.She showed me a selection of plastic frames, (a very small selection). I just want you to know that even if it looks like you have a very small selection of frames to look at, look again because there are multiples of the same frames. It makes them look like they have a selection of frames to fill a small wall of choices. They're just duplicates many duplicates to make it look like they have more than they really do. Please read all these reviews because they are all true and when they say will get back to you don't hold your breath waiting and the responses are very generic. They don't care about you at all and they definitely don't care about the little people even if you're desperate to get new glasses. I definitely don't recommend Pearle Vision to anyone. Please read these reviews and believe every word they say. Pearle Vision is a rip off right from the start. Even my eye exam was minimal at best. I have never had a worst exam in my life than like I did here. They knew I was on welfare and also was treated like a low life. Well, I'll continue to live a blurry life.

  I had a great experience at Pearl vision. The doctor did a great job with my RX and all of the staff was so friendly and helpful. I have been going here for several years and have always been happy with the service. Theresa and Anne have been there since the store opened and they have a new girl, Olivia who helped me this time. She is a great addition to the already great team. I would highly recommend pearl vision in Novi if you are in the market for new glasses. I have loved every pair I've gotten from here!
