  I've been working here as an aide, and genuinely the workspace is comfortable. The office is genuinely nice and they're caring people who deal with alot, but do their best. I admire the hard work and good attitudes. Couldn't ask for a better job.

  Arcadia in Marquette can’t keep good employees or the good ones leave because of pay and not enough of hours. I will not use them again. This is my second time trying to get help with my family members. I’m not going to let them come over and just sit. They stay on phone and never ask do my family member needs help .

  Having the aides for my wife has been very helpful and they have been good to her. The company, however, is pretty bad. They never call if an aide can't come and we are left waiting and have to call them whenever that happens. My wife asked why a certain aide wasn't able to make it one day and they told us she couldn't afford the gas to get here. They don't even pay the aides enough for them to afford to get to all their clients. If they aren't giving them milage, they should have a gas card. The aides keep quitting because of how bad they get treated by the company. A different aide was injured by a client different client and had to go to the ER. After she got back we found out they still send her to that client even though she told them before that she couldn't handle that person because they were to big for her. She is tiny. So they don't care for the health or safety of their employees. Edit: I'm not going to change anything I said above, but I'll say what's changed. Lately, it feels like they have really stepped up. The scheduling has been much better and consistent. My wife gets ahold of someone almost every time she calls now. They have worked with her to accommodate any schedule changes we have needed. She now is getting the same two aides regularly, as long as there are no extenuating circumstances, and she loves them. The consistency has been very good for my wife's mental health. She is happier, so I am too. Maybe things will keep getting better and it was just a slump before.
