I was recently referred to this office by my primary care for an elevated PSA. It turns out this was probably caused by vigorous exercise. Staff was OK at best, but they did not listen, and did not explain procedures. The MA stated she had to do a bladder scan without explaining why or what this was. There was no reason to do so, since I was having symptoms, such as bladder distention or bladder pressure, to justify this. The NP also did not listen to anything I had to say, nor take a medical history, ask me about any symptoms I may have experiencing, but just assumed I was having symptoms such as urgency, diminished urine stream, frequency, etc. As a retired RN, I was appalled by this appt, the lack of communication, the lack of willingness to listen. I would not recommend this office to anyone.
