You could not make up a story that would convey how surreal this ER is. It’s like something out of a dystopian movie. Without asking any appropriate questions at registration I (and everyone before and after me) was placed into a waiting room away from all staff where they were left out of sight and out of mind for hours on end. People were screaming, crying, calling loved ones to come to try to advocate for them. Only about one person per hour was eventually taken back. Patients verbally abusing staff seemed to create a cycle of staff not wanting to be anywhere near patients. No security person is anywhere here to remove belligerent patients yelling profanities for hours on end, no staff monitoring the patient waiting area to monitor for patients’ medical crises or to stop patients from harassing other patients.

THIS ER IS POORLY RUN AND MISMANAGED . DRS THINK THEY KNOE EVERYTHING, TAKE ADVOCATING FOR YOUR CARE AS AN INSULT. YOU TRY TO FIND HELP ADVOCATING FRONT DESK JUST SHRUGS LIKE <YA SURE WHATEVER> I HAVE RARE VASCULAR DISEASE AND MY FACE AS EVEN BEEN FEATURED FOR THE AWARENESS OF IT DURING NATIONAL SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPIAGNS. , YET I STILL CANT GET A RESIDENT TO SEE THAT MAYBES THERES A CONNECTION TO MY SEVERE RUQ PAIN AND THE FACT MY BLOOD SUGAR IS 120 WHEN THERES BEEN NO INTAKE ! ALSO DISCHARGING ME WITH HR RATE IN 120S, IM SHORT OF BREATH CAN BARELY STAND TO PEE AND THEY JUST WANNA HAVE ME FOLLOW UP WITH MY PCP WHO SENT ME THAT SAME DAY, AND WAS TEXTING WITH ME DURING THE STAY ( YES I HAVE THAT CLOSE FOLLOWUP) SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT IT, OH ALSO YOU RESIDENT IS GONNA ADMIT ON PAPER HIS REFUSAL TO CARE, WE MADE SURE OF THAT. (REMEMBER THIS IS YOUR RIGHT AS PATIENT TO ASK FOR THIS IN WRITTING) AND IM GON A MAKE SURE YOUR UP FOR ACCREDITATION REAL SOON ILL BE FILING JOINT COMMISSION AND DISCRIMINATION COMPLAINTS

This place has misdiagnosed my diabetes and left me suffer for three years. They refused to do the necessary labs with the many blood draws they have performed and today I was turned away by security without being seen because of the pride of the staff and their unwillingness to admit they made a mistake that has resulted in me suffering from untreated symptoms of diabetes for the past three years I’ve been taken there numerous times by ambulance for this racked up lots of unnecessary expenses due to them not taking me seriously when I asked them to check me for diabetes many many times when I was in their today they had 55 seats available out of about 60 in the waiting room everyone who was there was seen except me and then after a couple hours I was told to leave without being seen after I watched the waiting room population cycle three times.. they took me back for vitals twice and security blocked me into a room and tried to intimidate me into not documenting my visit which is my right to do. Especially after being dismissed and ignored and suffering for so long. This place prioritizes their own interests before their patients.

Staff is amazing. Unfortunately, the waiting room is absolutely horrendous and overwhelming. Outrageous wait times.. pretty crazy to wait 3 hours to be seen when you have a medical emergency and they knew you were coming, they need to prioritize better!

Dr. Mark Kerschner is absolutely awful. Went in about a year ago and requested no male doctors. They only had a male doctor available, which is understandable. I requested that he not touch me. Without asking or warning me he pulled down my gown exposing my breast to check to see if I had “seatbelt marks”. I am to this day still navigating the way this experience impacted me. He was dismissive, demeaning, and over all a terrible doctor. Will not be returning until he is gone.
