  Wish I didn’t have to leave any stars! Went to the ER today for multiple seizures, had one in the car and they told my s/o he had to figure out how to get me inside. They then left me in the waiting room actively seizing, then once I was in a room they made my s/o get me into the bed because I couldn’t move my body. Once a (student) doctor came to see me they tell me they’re sending me home and that I shouldn’t come back unless it’s more than 10mins. My nurse asked if I was comfortable leaving in the condition I was in and I said no and they still discharged me.

  Was hospitalized here for almost a week and just had to point out how above and beyond the hospital staff went into providing treatment and hospitality during my stay. Never experienced a hospital with this level of dedicated, professional and caring nurses. 11/10 experience.

  I honestly don't have any memories from there 😕, all I know is before I came to Akron children's hospital in Akron ohio, I was there because I was born in Kalamazoo. Sorry!! Edit: if yall can tell anything about me, that would be helpful. Thanks! Thank you Bronson for taking care of me ❤️❤️!

  So the Medical Unit has great care. I sent my dad here when he was dying. He had improved a lot under their care and was doing well. He was on the Neurology Floor. He unfortunately passed due to cancer at another hospital, but had a ball here. Full staff. Right on top of answering those call lights. And refill the medication right away. They joked with him and made him laugh on multiple occasions. The aides were really fun and they had a good sense of humor. They always laughed hysterically at his jokes. They gave him lots of steroids which did help his speech. Dr. Patel was awesome.

  The "care" at Bronson is very evident that it's just a job. They are there to make sure you're not actively at death's door then MUSH. ZERO Compassion or looking at you through real eyes and not the lenses of their prepredisposition that you are wasting their time. When I went in for RSV they almost seriously jacked me up because they did not know about Cushing's Disease and that the brain tumor I had pressing on my pituitary was essentially sending 660 times the "natural steroid" so adding to this artificial steroid could have had detrimental side effects, but they did not have an endocrinologist on call, nor were they informed of University of Michigan's med line to get direct connection to on-call Dr.s 24/7 Then my nurse had me do a whole literal dance for the oxygen machine to be able to come home with me. They held me over and extra night "to wait for the arrival" of said oxygen tank and when it got there in the AM they said OOPS YOU ACTUALLY DON'T MEET REQUIREMENTS TO TAKE OXYGEN HOME and also my respiratory therapist, Precious, was COMPLETELY MIA for my 3am breathing treatmemt. I waited up for her. She even directly asked me at the treatment before if i happen to be asleep do i want to be awoken and i said yes please these things are keeping me feeling okay. I couldn't sleep. And when i asked at 6am BECAUSE I AM PATIENT and gave her the benefit of the doubt where she has been they just brushes it off and said she tried to come in but I was sleeping. LIES. I do NOT sleep in a public place when I can't breathe and i know if i tough it out for a little longer "HELP IS COMING" But it never was LOL joke was on me I guess. PLUS if you have ever been in any hospital for more than 3 seconds when do they EVER CARE if you just fell asleep. That was a bold faced lie and completely disrespectful. I would rather be told the truth. We forgot about you. Actually Precious took a little nappie. ANYTHING but a bold faced lie. That was February. Fast forward to last night July 27, 2026 and I go in with breathing problems. I watch my O2 since the RSV and it was going from 78%-92% so I went in. The nurse said NO WAY it went that low. -.- oh yea? Cause I checked with my physical therapists pulse ox as well. Dr. Ordered an IV bag and she said I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY YOU ARE GETTING THIS hence her not checking that it was functioning and when I asked why the bubble wasn't moving in the line I was told to "lay down and it would work" when it was in fact...still clamped. My vitals machine turned off for a good 3 hours of my time there and when I mentioned it she said it "doesn't matter." O. K. I'm not brilliant, but I'm not stupid. I know compassion, I've been in and out of more hospitals than I'd like to count in the past year ALL for serious things. Some leaving behind some serious trauma I am working through in therapy. I thought Borjess was bad when the xray tech made me chase him to the machine with severe pain, but this is another level of disregard. Drive the hour and go to University of Michigan facilities. They're cleaner. You won't show up to your room and find old body fluids from God knows who left behind. Good luck out there, Friends.
