  I've had several yearly skin screenings for a family history of Melanoma, and have never had the experience that I did in Fort Gratiot. They would only do the top half of the body and made me schedule another appointment for the lower body. BUT they'll charge my insurance twice! They said a full exam would take too long. I was never given a gown to change into, but just told to take my clothes off when the nurse entered the room. It was shocking. She spent 5 min going over the top half. Went to another practice and had a comprehensive skin exam that was professional and timely, as well as doing a scrape bx on a suspicious area. I would NEVER recommend this practice and will certainly tell everyone I know how the practice is run.

  Went to this office yesterday for a skin check and saw Emily. She was fantastic. Very bubbly and upbeat. She was also very quick at preforming my skin check and was very informative of any spots and sunscreen recommendations. I highly recommend this office and Emily!

  The physician was knowledgeable and personal. Great job. Everyone else, specially the assistant, needs to be more patient focused. For example, when instructed on getting ready for the doctor (such as what clothes to take off), they spoke fast and made no eye contact. Although the procedure is something I had done many times before, it's still nice to get that personal touch.

  Everyone at the office is so nice and welcoming, starting with the receptionist. The assistant to the doctor was warm and clearly stated everything she was doing. Dr. Hamzavi was thorough and pleasant. He even gave me his cell phone number if I had any problems after the procedure. Kudos to this place

  I kinda feel like my moles are just getting measured and put in a file. There was no discussion about how to deal with these medical terms I heard her dictate to the nurse in my room. I've always had moles removed. Do you not do that anymore? She renewed 3 rx's and I'm on my way into the summer sun. You'd think I'd get recommendations for spv help. I guess I should have asked. In and out! I almost walked out when your reception required my to fill out a form a that I filled out last month. Try to cater to your customers. I expect "good customer service". I'm 70 years old and I'm tired of filling out unnecessary paperwork. I have pre-macular degeneration and it's not easy driving 50 miles round-trip. I thought I was a supposed to see Haley. Isn't she the blonde? Underwhelmed, not one mole removed and she didn't tell me where to go to get the two moles removed on the right cheek of my face. I've been there twice now, for my face. I see someone different every time. Who is my dermatologist? Sincerely, Janice L Bowyer
