  My review was removed. So adding it back. I’ll add it everyday if I have to. Updating my review to 1 star based on my experience with this studio’s ClassPass policies. My employer provided me with ClassPass credits, and I primarily attended for the Align class at Pure Barre Detroit. After attending consistently, I received an email from the studio informing me that the Align class would no longer be available through ClassPass and encouraging me to purchase a direct studio membership/package instead. I understand businesses have the right to manage memberships and class availability, but it was disappointing to lose access to the specific class I had been attending, I felt targeted especially since the studio’s other classes remained available on ClassPass. Unfortunately, the experience left me feeling unwelcome as a ClassPass user. Which is ultimately why will not attend this studio as a regular Pure Barre member.

  Moved from Houston last July and am so fortunate I live just 5 mins away from the best Pure Barre. I can’t name a single bad teacher at this location. Not only do they encourage you but they also catch the tiniest fixes and make your form and tone/burn so much better! I am so grateful to Mary Liz and the other teachers at PBD for being so welcoming and making my life in Detroit so so worth it

  Quite literally the most supportive group of people who are willing to teach and nourish your workouts. I’ve taken classes with Sam, Mary-Liz, KC, Izzy, Ebony, Alyssa, Alana, and Marisa: all of whom are very kind and intelligent. Classic is energizing, Empower and Reform make you sweat and feel incredible afterwards, and Align and Define get you relaxed and eased into your week. So rewarding to be a part of this environment of inclusivity and growth!!

  I love Pure Barre Detroit! <3 PBD helped reignite my love for Pure Barre this year - the teachers have been extremely welcoming and encouraging. I love coming here before/after work - this is definitely my "third place" and I am grateful to have had the support and encouragement of the studio and its teachers. I love the environment that PBD has fostered in the studio and appreciate the verbal and physical cues that teachers give throughout class to make sure I'm getting the most out of the exercises and improving my form. :)

  Hard to pick just one favorite instructor when they’re all AMAZING. Sam’s reform classes will kick your ass, Olivia’s classic is always deceptively difficult (and wonderful) & ML knows how to make everyone feel so loved and special always. You simply cannot go wrong with a single PBD teacher or staff member, they’re the best in the business and I’m thankful always to be a part of this wonderful community!
