Then we wasted almost an hour on a checkup that should’ve taken fifteen minutes. When I finally called out the ridiculous wait, suddenly there were “emergencies.” Convenient excuse — especially considering I didn’t see a single person who looked like they were dealing with anything even close to an emergency during the nearly two hours we were stuck there. What I did see was a front desk full of people who had plenty of time to laugh, chat, and screw around, but apparently zero time to give me a simple update or acknowledge that they were running absurdly behind. If this place is actually dealing with emergencies, maybe someone should try communicating that instead of pretending everything is fine while wasting everyone’s time. To me, it’s obvious: this wasn’t an emergency issue — it was disorganization, overscheduling, and staff who clearly don’t give a damn about the people sitting in their waiting room.
