    A provider at urgent care sent my prescription to this pharmacy, and I arrived shortly before closing after waiting over an hour to pick it up. I was then told the prescription had not been filled, that the medication was not in stock, and that it was scheduled to be filled the next morning around 11am — approximately 17 hours after it was sent. This left me with an untreated infection and significant discomfort overnight. Additionally, having the infection left untreated made it so I could not make it to scheduled appointments the following day. I also did not receive any notification confirming receipt of the prescription or alerting me that the medication was out of stock. Had I known, I would have arranged to have it filled at another pharmacy. I understand that medication shortages occur, but clearer communication about prescription status and inventory would help patients avoid gaps in treatment. I would appreciate the pharmacy reviewing its notification process so others do not experience similar delays.
