  They are the worst! You wait in a long line, then they don’t begin to fill the Rx until you ask for it. So then you wait up to an hour for them to fill it… AFTER they have told you it’s ready to be picked up over the phone. If you have trouble with the insurance company, forget about having them help you with it. They are rude and dismissive. You may make multiple trips trying to get a Rx… even though I have terminal cancer, it doesn’t matter to them.

  I started using this pharmacy when Walgreens was having issues at their damariscotta location a few years back. If you want to get your prescriptions picked up be prepared to do your shopping. Procedure is wait in line. Ask for scripts. Sorry not ready but it can be in 20 minutes. Go shopping. Come back and sit, you don't have to wait in line again. You will be called in front of others in line when they are ready. Sometimes you can wait for a script for over a week or more because they can't get it although you have been using the med for a long time. If you want to get the prescriptions in the mail I was told it costs $5 each to mail. You have to call in each script (when you can't reach the pharmacy by phone ever). The cashier even said the headache isn't worth it. Today I am transferring all scripts but one. Only because it can't be mailed. Follow the procedure above and it will go smoothly for you too!

  The most unprofessional pharmacy I’ve ever had the misfortune of visiting. Today, April 28th, I and a dozen others were waiting in line for almost an hour because of one customer who kept asking the same questions over and over again. Typically, this wouldn’t be the pharmacy’s fault, except the one tech on duty was actually entertaining this, and at once point was even explaining to the customer what a pill cutter was. The pharmacist in the background had put his headphones in and clearly wanted no part of any of this. If you see there is a long line of people, you need to learn how to wrap it up and help your other customers.

  There are 4 new registers after the renovation, I've never seen more than one open. The staff is nice... when you get there but they move like molasses in the winter, probably just dont care and are understaffed. Hannaford sucks in many ways, boycott is now in progress, theres other markets in town and other pharmacies.
