I had the misfortune of a screw falling out of my favorite pair of sunglasses. It saddened me to no end not to have them to wear this summer. I was advised to try LensCrafters as they have a large selection of screws and may be able to repair them. Well, they did!!! Monti and Jeff assisted me with great professionalism and courtesy. As a brick and mortar small business owner myself, I recognize excellent customer service and appreciate it more than I’m able to articulate. Thank you to the LensCrafters Waldorf staff for repairing my glasses and for making my day!!

I recently visited LensCrafters with my son, and the experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and treated with genuine care throughout the entire process. The customer service was exceptional at every touchpoint. Kelly, who assisted us with selecting frames and navigating our options, was knowledgeable, patient, and professional. He made what can often feel like an overwhelming process feel easy and enjoyable.
Isabella provided our eye examinations with such kindness and attentiveness. She was personable, gentle, and took the time to make us feel comfortable throughout the experience.
The doctor, whose name unfortunately escapes me, conducted one of the most thorough telehealth eye exams I've ever experienced. Despite being remote, the interaction never felt distant or sterile. She was engaging, attentive, and made me feel as though she was right there in the room. I left feeling heard, valued, and confident that my concerns had been addressed.
What stood out most, however, was the personal touch provided by the store manager, Monti. She went beyond simply managing the store—she connected with us as people. When she learned that my son and I both work in schools, she took a genuine interest in our work and even spoke about the possibility of coming in to speak with students. That level of authenticity and community-mindedness is rare and left a lasting impression.
By the end of our visit, both my son and I felt seen, respected, and appreciated as customers. In an era where customer service can sometimes feel transactional, the team at this LensCrafters delivered an experience that was personal, welcoming, and memorable.
Thank you to Monti, Kelly, Isabella, and the entire team for making our visit such a positive one. We will definitely be back.

Pleasant experience within just 3-1min to close. I called lens crafters to ask if they fix a screw that fell from out of my Miu Miu glasses. I called them about 5mins to close. I spoke with a young lady that answered the phone whom name was later given to me, which is Kayla. I asked Kayla can I come, gps shows 5mins. Kayla said yes happily even though they closed In 5mins. I arrived literally 1 min to close and Kayla, Kelly and Josh were at the counter waiting my arrival to assist me. I noticed a container with screws at the counter that Mr. Kelly was holding waiting to help fit my missing screws. Mr. Kelly fixed my the arm on my glasses In less than 1 min. I appreciate all of the workers for going above and beyond d to assist. I look forward to visiting Lens Crafters of Waldorf in the future whenever needed.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
