- BMBen McClungApr 24, 20262.0Recently my mother had a stay at st joe's with a case of acute delusion. The phone call I received from the palliative care rep was very kind and professional. But during that call I was informed I would hear from her again in a day or two and they would follow my mother's progress until she returned home after rehab. I never heard a word from anyone on the team again after that initial call. Maybe we slipped through the cracks, I don't know. What I do know is that the assurance I was given, that I relayed to my elderly father gave us a lot of comfort that was not followed up on.
