  I went St Joseph because I was having chest, upper stomach, and leg pain. its known to be a heart hospital. When I arrived they took me to triage right away did a ekg, drew blood, and took my vitals. My blood pressure was 246/124. They sent me back to the waiting area, they did xray and cat scan. Not to mention I was stuck 4 times for a IV. They ruled out heart attack, heart problems, and stomach issues. They brought me to the back to another waiting area I was never in a room, I was in the hallway. They never worked on my pressure until I said my pressure is extremely high and I wasn't given anything to bring it down. The nurse talks to the Dr. He came to me to let me know she was giving me a lower dose of po meds to try to help with my pressure. When I was discharged my pressure was 180/111. My pressure has never been this high ever. My blood and urine test results came to my chart. They said every looked good but everything says abnormal, the only thing that was treated was low potassium. I will never go back. I was there from 10am to 10pm.

  Horrible ER! Ya know it's a shame Hospitals have gotten so bad. My Primary Care Doc, Pain Specialist, and Spinal Doctor are all part of St Joe's. Long story short I've been having worsening muscle pain, weakness, tingling in my arms and hands, fatigue, etc etc that was concerning enough that I asked my Wife to take me to the ER which I never do. I get hospitals are chronically short staffed and wait times are horrible. After about 4 hours of waiting in the room they finally called me back to Triage and Nurse Thomas Banz basically said sit here while we figure out what we can do for you. An hour and a half goes by with staff zipping back and forth no communication other then getting app notifications that a doctor was assigned to me. More time passes nothing. Finally I grab the nurse and ask him what the deal is. He asks me if I've been seen by the doctor um no? Wouldn't he know that? I said no I'm still waiting and he says "that's what everybody is waiting for" thanks buddy real reassuring. I said I don't want to wait anymore and he says "ok that's fine". What really ticks me off is what he put in the app which is basically covering his butt saying he apologized for the wait and so does the doctor who I never met. That he advised against me leaving for my best interest etc etc which is all a total lie. None of that was said he couldn't care less about my discomfort. I feel like this whole department needs retraining I'm empathetic care and probably in some cases need staff replacement. I should have listened to my wife and gone to GBMC but I'm stupidly loyal. My Father In Law was left in the waiting room ALL NIGHT on the verge of a Heart Attack with Chest Pain a couple years ago and I should have known better

  This hospital is one of the best! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly really made my anxiety go way down and kept at the very least its been in a while! Just good vibes and people

  I don’t want to give any stars I have been in this place for 3 times now this the last time my both kids sick one worse than other we get to pediatric with the nurses one trying to teach the other one while my 8 month old suffers on fever her fever was 103.8 and didn’t check her out or nothing I told them my son fever was gone my daughter wasn’t feeling well they ignored me have me waited for almost 2 hours and didn’t care at all I give birth in this hospital terrible first time I went the doctor trying tell me I’m force to do my son circumcised

  Worst emergency visit ever. I went in there with a back pain that was severe, set their forever 4 hours never got seen. There wasn't a triage nurse in the window for over 30 minutes. They really don't care about you there.They really don't care about anything, or anybody they're just there to make money, and not do anything to help anybody health care is went out the left the window completely
