  Most doctors offices have low reviews but this doesn't mean the care is bad. I think the medical care is decent. All doctor's offices have their pros and cons. It's alright and wildly depends on the provider. I'm happy with my provider but there are many providers at the office. The location is a bit hard to find but once you find the small road it's good. The office is small and that's expected. The receptionists can be better and improved. Hopefully with time they will get better.

  After my primary care physician (PCP) of 35 years retired, I decided to sign up with Montgomery Family & Internal Medicine Associates in Silver Spring. I could not be happier with my choice. Their providers bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their community. In a short time, they have been able to help me, in coordination with area specialists, in diagnosing my health issues and identifying the best treatment plans. Their professionalism, resourcefulness and dedication to their patient’s wellbeing is admirable and much appreciated.   The medical team does their job well, but the billing department is straight up allergic to their work. The guy in charge of billing is almost never in the office and keeps lying to the staff about submitting claims. I've been calling weekly for about a month only to hear about how they keep telling the billing guy to submit my claim. They keep telling me it's unacceptable for him to be slacking, but that he says he's on it and will reach out soon. This practice seems poorly run and they genuinely don't seem to care about your finances.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you are still searching for a primary care doctor, stop right here — Dr. Jasleen Salwan is the one. My wife and I have both are her patients, and I can honestly say she has completely changed what we expect from healthcare. You know that feeling of leaving a doctor's appointment and still not really knowing what's going on with your health? That never happens with Dr. Salwan. She sits down, she listens — really listens — explains everything in a way that actually makes sense, and treats you like a person, not a chart. She is sharp, thorough, and genuinely invested in your long-term wellbeing, not just whatever brought you in that day. She catches things, she follows up, and she remembers your history. In a world of rushed 10-minute appointments, she is a breath of fresh air. We have recommended her to family and friends, and every single one of them has thanked us. If your current doctor is just "okay" — you deserve better. Dr. Salwan is what great primary care actually looks like. Make the switch. You won't regret it for a single day.

  If you’re looking to establish care here, quite simply: DON’T! Run far, far away. I wish I had run away as soon as the first red flag arose. First of all, they require new patient forms be filled out in advance and HAND DELIVERED with copies of your ID/insurance card before anything else. Last time I checked, it’s 2026, so why is it that we must deliver these items in person before we can even discuss the potential of being scheduled? I spent an hour filling out the extensive paperwork & did exactly as I was told back in January & was told I should be scheduled for an appointment no later than March. Since it’s now March & I never received a call, I decided to call and get an update. BIG MISTAKE! Granted, you can’t even get ahold of anyone for at LEAST 15 minutes (and that’s gracious). After I finally got someone on the line and provided them my name, DOB, & reason for calling, I was immediately put on hold without any explanation, then held for 2-3 minutes before being hung up on…& you guessed it, no call back! Why I called back? Beats me, but I did. 17 minutes later & someone answered. I prefaced that I didn’t want to be put on hold given what happened yesterday and as soon as she asked my name & spelling, I was put on hold. I was then informed that they are not currently taking new patients with my insurance despite being in network. I said I’m sorry but that makes absolutely zero sense given that you told me back in January you take my insurance AND you’re accepting new patients. No further explanation was given & she was completely unapologetic. All that to say, don’t waste your time like I did. Now I have to go back to pick up my forms & demand they delete record of my ID/insurance as I don’t want them having any of my information.
