Great gym but if you love out of state they continue to charge you after 2 years when you’ve requested to cancel your account multiple times going to be getting a lawyer involved now

I am extremely disappointed with the management at 1407 Research Blvd. This is not the first time I’ve encountered issues with the massage chair activation, but today was beyond unprofessional.
The current system is broken: you have to ask the front desk to turn the chair on manually. Today, I had to walk up and down the stairs three times!
1. First, I asked the manager. He said it was on. I went upstairs, waited — nothing.
2. I went back down, spoke to another staff member. Again, she claimed it was activated. I went back up — still nothing.
3. By the third time, I was furious.
It is completely disrespectful to treat customers this way, making them run back and forth like errand boys/girls. Why is this process so unnecessarily complicated? If you offer an amenity, it should work, or your staff should ensure it’s actually on before sending a client away. Please simplify this 'activation' nonsense and start valuing your clients' time.
Hi there:
I’ve been a member of your Rockville location for a few months now. No issues. Was using locker room and had a few gym things in there. I come back this morning and everything is gone. The lock was broken. No one told me I could not leave my stuff in there. So you break in? And throw out my things? What if there was money in there? So, carte blanche to throw away/keep? And then there was your manager, Jon K - an aggressive, rude, and unhelpful person. Sure I was frustrated, but he absolutely refused to help, and told me he would call the cops and have me removed. Um, so where are my things? "Get out." Joined by another large bearded male, who was smiling at my predicament.
And here is Jon K making comments about my appearance, and 'attitude'. Meanwhile, where's my stuff? Nothing even got that loud; he just refused to help or even speak with someone. Bottom line - you leave things in a locker overnight, and all bets are off. They blamed me. Management emailed to offer a resolution - but wouldn't say what it was. Refund? A check for my things? A free month? An apology or an explanation? Who knows - they did not say - so we have what we have. Meanwhile, member services, completely tone deaf, still threatened to charge me $175 to get out of the contract, as if I was the one being petty. Who would go back to that location? Thanks for at least canceling my membership, I guess. Let's just hope this doesn't happen to some little old lady, because that WILL be on the evening news.
