I showed up at 6:40 after I called and was assured multiple times they were open till 7pm earlier in the day. The door was locked and no one came when I knocked. I took a 30 minute drive just for the store to be closed 20 minutes early with no signage posted. I sat and waited till I saw movement inside at 7:00 . That’s when two middle aged chicks shook there head and told me they were closed and didn’t even care that I told them I’ve been here since 6:40pm. I will be seeking a refund when I come back tomorrow after taking a second 30 minute trip after work.

Came to this location with my boyfriend he said his glasses were ready and whoever he spoke to on the phone said he could come get them before 7 cause that’s what time yall closed well we got there at 6:40pm he went to go in and the doors were locked he tried calling them no answer. We sat and waited and finally at 7:00pm 2 employees came from the back area of the store and were standing at the front desk. My boyfriend went back up to the doors and the employees told him the door was locked, yeah we know it’s been locked since 6:40pm 20 minutes before you guys close very disappointed in the service we received from this location

My experience with LensCrafters was extremely disappointing.
When I first went to pick up my glasses, I immediately noticed that they were damaged. The staff acknowledged the issue and sent them back for a replacement. While I appreciated that they replaced them, that should never have happened in the first place.
Unfortunately, the replacement pair turned out to be just as problematic. Less than two weeks after receiving them, I noticed the lenses developing a noticeable yellow tint. At first I thought it might be lighting, but the discoloration became so obvious that I can now see the yellowing without even putting the glasses on.
For a product that costs as much as prescription glasses do, I expected significantly better quality control and materials. Lenses should not visibly discolor in less than two weeks of normal use. Between receiving damaged glasses initially and then having the replacement lenses yellow almost immediately, I have lost confidence in the quality of the products being sold here.

Yesterday I went to this location in Pasadena and at first I was a little frustrated because I was late. Not their fault, of course, but the person on the phone let me know that I could come in the very next hour. When you first walk in the store you will notice it is very beautiful and modern. You will be greeted and asked if you are there for an exam and then escorted to the waiting area to sign in. Then you do one eye exam with the tech and then another with the actual doctor. Dr. Christina Tang was very personable and patient with me as we progressed through the exam. Then I spent a decent amount of time walking around, looking at the frames and they had very beautiful choices to choose from at all different price points. When it was all said and done, I did spend a good amount of money on my FSA card, but for me, it’s all worth it in the end because being able to see and not having tired eyes is a priority for me. Also, the optician McKenzie was excellent and a joy to work with! Honestly, the whole experience was a lot quicker I remember at other stores. I have no complaints!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
