  I arrived for an appointment this morning and was told I couldn’t be seen without a referral. The disappointing part is that no one from the office called me to inform me of this prior to my appointment. I shifted my work schedule for the appointment and I was completely inconvenienced. It doesn’t make sense that you guys have a full front desk staff sitting there not checking/verifying insurance or communicating to patients what is needed for their appointments. I couldn’t believe the level unprofessionalism I experienced this morning. As a health compliance - health quality specialist, the current workflow of this office is completely unacceptable. Front desk staff should be checking the insurance of every client listed on the schedule and if there is information missing/needed the front desk should be reaching out to the patient. I have never received such poor service from University of Maryland. I also have to wait an entire month to be rescheduled. Dr. Courtney is fantastic but the call center/scheduling and front desk team need a major rework.

  I am with the System and went there because this is the place closest to me. It took over 1hr to be seen by the doctor and there were barely any patients. The staff weren’t friendly at all. I would never go there again!!! TERRIBLE!

  Used to love this office. Providers are not personable. Waited almost 2 hours at the downtown office. Went to the OM office and received a prescription which I can barley use the glasses. Called after months of trying to get used to the prescription and was told I can't get in to any location until December. I stated I would need to go somewhere else and the employee said "okay" and hung up. They could care less!

  I agree, the professionalism needs vast improvement! Whoever answer the phone for appointments is just down right rude. She cuts off your sentences before you can explain what is going on, etc. Wait times are awful in the office and the admin staff their at the Owings Mills location speaks in a condescending tone. Dr Sunni Scott was simply amazing but since the pandemic she has left the practice. No reason to continue dealing with the unprofessionalism at this location.

  Too much wait time. We waited more then hour to be seen by nurse the another hour to see doctor. Total of two hours. Pathetic service. We had a another appointment two days later and still same. Doctors seem not to care making us wait and wait.
