  This was hands down the BEST experience at an eye doctors office my family has ever had. I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Imani and Ms. Keosha during our visit. They were so warm and welcoming to my children. They have found the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. We all love our new glasses too. The world looks bright and clear again. They definitely are FOR EYES.

  The “store” people were okay but the doctor was extremely mean towards me and the other staff. Also the website doesn’t warn you about the online visit!! You go there expecting to see a doctor and everything is done through zoom (or whatever program they use). She didn’t take my problem seriously and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I’m not sure my new prescription is correct since I have been having headaches since I got my new glasses. I for sure won’t be back to this place.

  I had an appointment scheduled at For Eyes (White Marsh location) on 4/16, and unfortunately the experience went downhill from the moment I arrived. The office felt disorganized, which immediately raised some concern. When I was taken back, I was informed that my eye exam would be conducted virtually. I was hesitant—especially for something as important as vision—but given how long it took to get the appointment, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. That turned out to be a mistake. The exam lacked the thoroughness you expect when a doctor is physically present. Based on that virtual exam, I was given a new prescription for both contacts and glasses and provided a trial pair of contacts. By the next day, it was clear the prescription was incorrect—my vision was noticeably worse. I contacted the office and explained that I work on a computer all day and needed to be seen by an in-person doctor as soon as possible, or I would prefer a refund so I could go elsewhere. After multiple calls, they scheduled me for the following Saturday. Then the experience became even more frustrating. The Tuesday before my appointment, I received a text saying it was cancelled due to no doctor being available. The very next day, I received an email confirming the same appointment. When I called for clarification, I was told it was in fact cancelled. At that point, I again requested a refund so I could seek care elsewhere—only to be told they do not offer refunds. This used to be a reliable optometry office, but that is clearly no longer the case. The staff has completely changed, and the level of organization and customer service has declined significantly. Buyer beware. I would rate this experience 0 out of 5 stars and strongly recommend going elsewhere. IN REPLY TO THE CANNED RESPONSE FROM THE BUSINESS : Thank you for the response, but this is clearly a canned reply that doesn’t address anything I actually experienced. It’s obvious that my review wasn’t even read by the business. I already contacted the store directly multiple times trying to resolve this, and no solution was offered. I asked for either a proper in-person exam or a refund so I could go elsewhere, and neither was handled. At this point, being sent to a generic response isn’t helpful. This situation should have been addressed when I reached out, not handled by a canned chat bot response. AGAIN: BUYER BEWARE!!!
