  Recently moved and needed PCP. Was able to get appointment with a week. Staff was amazing. Doctor took time to listen to concerns and guided me to resources. Wish there was a 6 or 8 star rating

  My mother had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Dwivedi we were running behind but we made it within the 15 minute time frame maybe a couple of minutes or so a little after but not much I checked my mother in Dr Dwivedi's assistant announce my mother's name in the waiting room with an attitude she was very loud very rude and unprofessional she stated that the patient had to be in the office when they're being checked in I said she's coming down the hallway now so she was very unprofessional and also there were other patience in the waiting room. When we got back to the doctors office and we were waiting Dr Dwivedi came into that office pointing her finger at me in a very nasty and very unprofessional manner and very rude like she was scolding a child she stated you are 15 minutes past your appointment in a 30 minute slot, she said I want to go home she was nasty and I before I knew it I snapped back at her to let her know we getting an elderly woman prepared for the appointment she stated well you need to start earlier and I let her know we did start earlier but you can't rush ian elderly person our mother walks very slow due to her knee pains she didn't want to hear that they were very nasty so after the appointment Dr. Dwivedi's assistant started calling me by my mother's last name which I am not that we need to arrive 15 minutes beforehand and she still was loud still unprofessional. I called this morning and asked who is the administrator there they gave me a name of a person called Michelle I called her they took a message she called me back I returned her call and I did not hear from her anymore. My brother explained to them that before we left about the appointment we were running a little bit behind so the woman said to him your appointment is at 3:30 and you have until 3:45 so we got there a little bit after the 3:45 not 10 minutes after a couple of minutes when we got to the doctor's office he did explain to the doctor the reason why we were late she said okay it's fine but stated to my brother I didn't understand I understood perfectly well she just came out very nasty towards me and trying to scold me like I'm her child I'm older than her and I'm older than her assistant and her assistant was trying to scold me as well I don't appreciate anyone scolding me like I'm a child and I'm older than you that was very unprofessional I don't know who these people think they are but this is unacceptable and I am also a patient of Dr Dwivedi which I am pulling my self from I do not want her to see me as a as a doctor and I don't want to be her patient ever again if you act like that you're not worthy to be my doctor and the true colors of both these females came out yesterday she talk about she wants to go home everybody wants to go home she's not the only one but she didn't have to be nasty about it she could have handed it in a better and more professional manner and her assistant the same way I don't even know why they still working there cuz if you rude and nasty to the patient and you're doing it in front of the other patients in the waiting room and then you're loud about it what does that say for that office what does that say for the whole staff is not a very good look it's not a very good professional atmosphere so I don't recommend anyone going there if they treat their patients this way it's just not worth it.

  I have been a patient of this practice and of Gladys Akanoh, Nurse Practitioner, for about five years. I find her to be extremely competent, easy to work with (I’m a retired nurse!), and cares about her patients often calling them after hours to answer questions, etc. I recommend Gladys to anyone looking for a new practitioner in this area.
