- AJAlynne JeffersonJan 7, 20251.0This is the most unprofessional place I’ve had to deal with. UMBHC (which is also a 1 star facility) sent me here for an appointment at 9am for my BROKEN ankle. We had a snowstorm the prior day, so it’s understandable that they weren’t answering the phone that day. Here we are today, mostly everything is back to business… and these people still aren’t answering the phones, and have neglected to even inform me if I’ll be seen. I called the 3000 number at 8:30 and the operator was incredibly rude and said “I haven’t been notified, so they’re open.” They clearly aren’t because I’ve been calling the scheduling team since 9:00 AM and nobody has answered. I need a surgery from these people next week, and I’m not even comfortable with them cutting me open! They had me enroll in text alerts for my appointments, and they haven’t even texted me to alert me. Now I’m stuck with a broken ankle in a heavy splint, and nobody can help or give me answers. It’s kind of outrageous considering how expensive healthcare is.
