  ER horrible - sitting in lobby for several hours after labs done with results that were fine - many others sitting in lobby terribly sick and receptionist not nice or friendly at all! THEY NEED TO DO BETTER!!

  I took my dad into emergency at 810pm due to hard to breath and keep coughing hard. Emergency was even better before when I send my son because they took care my dad not waiting too long. They asked the medical history. My dad was visiting me so I am not really well known about his medical history but the doctor who attended him checked in the system and his medical record was not updated so I tell what’s the latest was he was hospitalized. After checking and blood work, my dad confined at 12am . He was admitted from Aug 24-Sep3 From the diary day he was admitted charged nurse took care of my dad was very nice and well taking care of him. They attended the needs of my dad to help him because he got pneumonia and he hardly hear, all the nurse that I mention help him tremendously.the incharge nurse that I commended for exemplary service and care to their dad was isha, Khusbu, Diana, Ethel, Andre and rachel. The last 3 days of my dad was not good. I asked the incharge nurse if possible to request to call me if the doctor rounds to his room for the last 3 days I never received a call unlike from 1st day. My dad was choking on his food that’s why I am worried about. He have pace maker too. His lungs are not okay his breathing is not fine when he was confined. His last day at the hospital case manager called me he will discharge in the afternoon at rehabilitation When he was discharged I went to visit him at rehabilitation my dad ate his dinner and telling me he ate vegetables and a pork chop! ( he can choked) the rehab no knowledge of my dad history that the food should be softened, the water should be liquid tickler, and his med should be crack if it’s big because he will chocked as I spoke with the dietitian in the hospital my dad can’t drink with straw instead should be use by spoon. The doctor in charge to my dad didn’t call for the last 3 days even i begged to request to updated on my dads health. Now I about to complain. Because on discharge report from the hospital my dad don’t have a copy. The rehabilitation give me a copy , it was not stated that PT history Only stated , PT cardiac. What if I don’t visit my dad on his first day? And the rehabilitation give him food that will tend him to get choked’ my dad has a history that I called 911 due choking of very tiny apple slice… I am telling this to be more aware of taking care of the patient history that should be stated. The last nurse and the and doctor should be liable on this after they discharge my dad.

  I delivered both of my sons here and the care was top notch. Nurses and doctors all listened to my concerns and were very accommodating and helpful. Dr. Contreras delivered my son this most recent time and she did a phenomenal job.

  UPDATE-Just when I thought it couldn't get worse...My husband was seen by Dr. Frasier in the ER on Sunday, August 16th. He had been experiencing excruciating back pain for some time and on this day it had got worse with my husband experiencing incontinence. He was also unable to stand and walk unassisted. When Dr. Frasier saw him he told my husband that there was no issue and that the incontinence was just due to the pain meds he was taking. My husband tried to explain that he was recently in remission from lymphoma and needed an MRI. Dr. Frasier was very loud and dismissive and told my husband that he wasn't getting an MRI. Well a week later (8/24) his symptoms were worse and I had to call 911 to get him back to the hospital. Another doc (Bishop) ordered the MRI and discovered a peach size mass pressing on my husband's spinal cord risking paralysis. My husband is in surgery as we speak having the mass removed and we're praying there's no permanent damage. I can't put into words the amount of anger I feel when I think of Dr. Frasier. ORIGINAL POST-This ER is definitely not the best. I spent a couple of hours there for them to tell me what I already know, all for the cost of $200. If I had a medical issue and came there knowing I would be charged, I at least thought my issue would be addressed.
