  HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about UM BWMG Women’s Health. After spending years with MedStar—being passed from provider to provider, treated like a number, and never receiving clear answers—I finally found a practice that understands how important it is for women to feel heard, respected, and taken seriously, especially when seeking care for deeply personal women’s health concerns. At my previous clinic, I couldn’t even tell you who my primary doctor was. My concerns were dismissed, my medication was changed without my knowledge, and I was even told that I “should get pregnant” because it might help determine what was wrong. That was inappropriate, upsetting, and made me feel as though my health and choices as a woman did not matter. At UM BWMG Women’s Health, from my very first appointment with Dr. O’Halloran, the difference was remarkable. He understood what was going on and treated my concerns with the knowledge, compassion, and sensitivity that women deserve when discussing their bodies and reproductive health. I finally felt listened to, respected, and cared for as a whole person, not just another patient or number. The administrative and front-desk staff were also amazing. They welcomed me warmly and immediately put me at ease during what was a new and stressful experience. That kindness was something I had never experienced at my previous clinic. This exceptional care continued recently when I was out of the country and urgently needed my prescription. Nurse Tina went above and beyond to make sure I received my medication on time, even giving me a direct way to contact her in case I experienced any issues. Her dedication and personal attention exceeded every expectation. Women deserve healthcare providers who listen to them, believe them, and understand that women’s health concerns require both expertise and compassion. That is exactly what I found at UM BWMG Women’s Health. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. O’Halloran, Nurse Tina, and the entire staff. I finally feel safe, supported, and confident in my care. I highly recommend this practice!

  Called and was assured my prescription was going to be sent to pharmacy. Drove to pick up. It was never called in. Left messages in the portal for staff to call me back. Have not heard from them. It has been 2 days. Will be finding g a new provider. Difficult getting an appointment too. Go somewhere else.

  I attended the Centering Pregnancy groups at this location with my midwife, Marissa Stear, and nurse Mercedes who helped organized and facilitate. My husband and I found these appointments/classes to be informative & enjoyable. I liked spending more than 15 minutes with the midwife and having my husband be a part of it since they’re held in the evenings. Discussions at each class included information on laboring options at BWMC, pre and post partum health and complications, feeding, baby care, and more. If you’re a first time parent, these classes are a must, and if you’re a second or more time parent, you’ll still come out of each session learning something!

  I would like to recognize Shalia and Chrissy for the exceptional care they provided during my visit. After drinking the glucose solution, I became very nauseated and felt like I was about to pass out. Shalia immediately noticed that I was not feeling well, quickly helped me get settled into a bed, and made sure I was comfortable. Her attentiveness, compassion, and prompt response made a stressful situation much easier to manage. I would also like to commend Chrissy, the phlebotomist, who was outstanding throughout the entire process. She took the time to walk me through each step, frequently checked on me, and continuously made sure I was doing okay. Her kindness, professionalism, and reassurance helped me feel much more at ease. Both Shalia and Chrissy provided excellent patient care and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and safety. Their compassion and dedication are greatly appreciated, and they are a true asset to your team.
