I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service we have consistently received from one receptionist at this office, whom her manager identified to me as “Allison.” Every interaction we have had with her—whether checking in, checking out, scheduling follow-up appointments, or obtaining referrals—has been met with an attitude that makes us feel as though we are inconveniencing her simply by needing assistance. One experience in particular really stood out to me. My husband was extremely ill at the time, and I was speaking on his behalf. I was asking questions regarding a referral, and Allison repeatedly ignored my questions and waited until my husband personally asked before responding. As a caregiver trying to advocate for someone who was sick, I found that incredibly frustrating and upsetting. Today was another example. My husband’s appointment was at 10:00 AM, and we arrived at approximately 10:13. I completely understand that offices have policies regarding late arrivals, and I have no issue with a policy being enforced. What bothered me was the complete lack of empathy or compassion in how the situation was handled. My husband is dealing with a bulging disc in his back and is also experiencing worsening vision, so simply making it into the office was difficult for him. Instead of showing even basic understanding, we were simply told that we were late and would have to reschedule. Allison also repeatedly asked my husband for his last name even after he had already provided it. Afterward, I called the office calmly to ask for the first name of the receptionist who had checked my husband in because I wanted to accurately identify the employee in my complaint. I was told that they would not provide her name and was eventually transferred to the manager, who also refused to provide it, despite telling me that the receptionist had not done anything wrong. I was not asking for her last name or any private information—only the first name that the manager herself ultimately identified as “Allison.” I want to make it clear that everyone else we have interacted with at this office has been wonderful, which makes these repeated experiences even more disappointing. My concern is specifically with the way this receptionist communicates with patients and their families. Healthcare receptionists are often the first point of contact for people who are already sick, worried, in pain, or dealing with difficult circumstances. Basic professionalism, patience, empathy, and compassion should be part of that interaction. I sincerely hope management provides additional customer-service training and addresses this pattern. Patients should never feel like they are a burden for needing help, especially when they are already struggling with their health.

I came once and will NOT be returning. Fidelia Tanyi was condescending and very rude. She refused a test I asked for and provided no justifiable cause and reason. I also believe they canceled my follow up appointment because of it. And I asked to speak to the manager and they didn’t email me back either when I sent a complaint overall piss poor care.

Dr left then they cancelled all my appointments. When I found out that they would not take me they also did not refil my medication then told me I'm sol. Heart racing from lack of heart meds trying to figure out what to do.

I cannot be convinced Umm-Ul-Banin really cares for her patients. Complete disregard displayed for concerns and questions I have for her. I do not recommend her.

I was a long time patient at this practice until I was abruptly cancelled. Apparently my primary doctor left the practice. He had been there many years. Instead of calling and rescheduling me they straight out cancelled my appointment with vwry little notice. I had visited the week before and had bloodwork done and had already heard my doctor had left. I had assumed I would just be rescheduled with a replacement.
