  Extremely irresponsible and unprofessional pharmacy staff. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, it was finally my turn, only to be told to come back tomorrow because they were closing in 10 minutes and didn’t want to rush to fill my prescription. These are essential medications, not optional purchases. Turning away a patient during business hours without making any effort to help is unacceptable. Patient care and safety should come first.

  they have some niche things i like but a very expensive store, not for the whole weekly shopping list. the lady working here always hollering at everyone in the self checkout lane has clean lost her damn mind. she's standing there yelling HELLLOOOOOOOO at some poor guy who didn't realize she was talking to him. how about walking a little closer and saying "excuse me, number 2 is open!" rather than YELL from the other side of the store??? it's every time I go here this crazy rude lady... to the point im trying to work out her schedule and avoid her. might as well just drive the extra 10 min to hyattsville I guess

  Giant Pharmacy Customer Service is Terrible! 12-24-20 my husband was discharged from the hospital and needed to get an insulin prescription filled. We waited 2 hours for them to tell us they didn't have it at 3:30pm. Mind you it's Christmas eve and everyone is closing early 6pm. CVS attempted to call Giant several times to get them to transfer the prescriptions so they could see if they had the meds but they were not answering the phone. We finally got through on the phone and they transferred the prescription to CVS. Fortunately CVS had what we needed and we picked it up at 5:45pm. This was very stressful and unnecessary. The policy should be to check prescriptions as they arrive to determine if they have it and then put it in line to be filled and if not, notify the customer so they can try somewhere else if need be. Unhappy ex-customer

  Got to store at 10:40pm it was closing. Manger closed everything at 11:00pm. They were supose to be open for another hour. Several people arrived to see a closed store on my way back to the car.
