    Absolutely rude and unhelpful people at this pharmacy. I called in a prescription refill over a week ago and went to pick it up as instructed. It wasn't available (they never called or sent a message letting me know it was backordered). I went again yesterday - over a week later - and it's still not there. They said it would be in today (Friday) and the incredibly rude girl on the phone was indifferent and said "I dunno" before putting me on hold for 11 minutes. Then Peter picked up with a similarly rude and indifferent attitude, refused to let me speak to the pharmacy manager, finally, after 4 minutes agreed to look at other pharmacies for it. This is an absolute joke. Incredibly rude, unprofessional staff that frankly shouldn't be interacting with the public. I'll call back to talk to the Pharmacy Manager in an hour but I'm certain he'll still be "on a break". Meanwhile, I've been out of medicine for three days and counting because they can't properly manage their business or contact customers to notify of shortages or backorders so other plans can be made. There are SO MANY other options in Dunkirk alone, just not worth the headache here.

    If I could rate a 0 star I would. About 2 days ago I went to pick up my prescription. The price they gave me was way more than I had been paying. They couldn’t give me any idea why. So I said ok let me see if I can find out what’s going on. Yesterday I called and spoke to Peter.. he tried to help me as much as he could. He even called back and said he dug a bit deeper and made some suggestions. I asked him how long would they hold my prescription and he told me 14 days! Peter was great. It was others in there. So fast forward to today. I drive to giant to go ahead and get my prescription because I was completely out of my meds. I get there and I was told they did not have it in stock and they had to order it. Imagine the look on my face. I was like wait.. I had it in my hands just 2 days ago and was told that it would be held for up to 14 days. The response was well we don’t have it we can order it. I was fuming. I told him to forget it and I walked out. I called the pharmacy a bit later and talked to the pharmacist. What a terrible experience! First and main thing his English was not clear at all and I could hardly understand him. I made out bits and pieces of what he was saying. Basically I was told that MY prescription was sold to someone else🤬 .I was so livid I ended up just handing up. So now here it is and I don’t have any meds. And no they aren’t narcotics. They are blood thinners so it’s something I do need. This isn’t the first time that I have been here and the staff at this pharmacy was rude. I highly recommend going to a different pharmacy!

    I have never had an issue having my prescriptions filled at the Giant pharmacy in Dunkirk. They are always available and ready to go on time. Also the pharmacist who was disparaged in a previous review has administered a tetanus vaccine to me! He is not only qualified and knowledgeable, he is a pleasant and courteous individual. I have interacted with him many times as I have been a customer at this particular location for almost 10 years.
