Do not under any circumstance go to this hospital, You will definitely regret it. Hopefully, you live 2 regret it. Unfortunately I almost did not the first time I made this mistake going to this hospital caused me to lose 40% of my vision in my right eye. The second time I made this mistake. I was mantic I am bipolar, and I went in hallucinating and completely mantic.Well, when you're hallucinating, and your vision is gone in part of your eye, but you still see floaters, and sometimes shadows, it's a recipe for disaster instead of this hospital treating me like a person and helping me get out of the manic state, they pretty much made things a lot worse than what they were they accused me of being on drugs. They wouldn't treat me because they thought I was on drugs This caused a downward spiral for the next two weeks. I was going out of my mind. I was hallucinating doing things that I would have never done any other time. I was dragging my family along with me. I am begging anybody that has any kind of authority to shut this hospital down. Immediately! My life will never be the same because I chose to go to this hospital. This is just my story. How many more are out there? How many more lives have they basically ruined? How many families have they tore apart?? Close them down and take the doctor that mistreated me and the doctor that made me lose my vision take their licenses please if somebody could do this, maybe there's a chance that no one else has to live through the things I had to healthcare should definitely be a right, not a privilege and being sick and being mentally ill don't look the same, but they are sick is sick and people that are mentally ill have it worse because you can't advocate for yourself . This hospital never asked me if I was on drugs. They just assumed because I was hallucinating and I'm pretty sure that the doctor the second time around knew that. After she drug tested me and realized I was not on drugs accused me of being in withdrawal from suboxon never ask me any questions about taking my meds properly never asked me basically any questions. Because she didn't want the answer. She didn't want to be wrong. So they proceeded to stick me with needles that were unnecessary tore my arms all up and never even used the iv just wanted to torture me. i'm just curious how many more stories are out there things will never be right for me.But hopefully somebody else can get treated the right way

Worst hospital in the U of Md medical system. It needs to be torn down and resources poured into another hospital in area. There are clinical issues across the board. The facility is filthy dirty. The nurses are seldom in proper uniform and look downright unprofessional and unkept. We left this hospital AMA for the first time in 60 yrs. I left this hospital with the RSV, I contracted there. I've had two admissions for asthma. Dont make the mistakes I did. Bypass Chestertown Hospital.
